So work continues on From Death Til Now and my new project, as well as some commissioned paintings that have finally worked out. From Death Til Now is getting exciting for me personally. I have been taking a short break from drawing it because I really feel like Chapter 2 is not where it should be. I got really rushed with it when it came to writing it, because of all of things I had going on and I just don't feel like it would do it justice to keep going at it like that. I really think George and Virgil's story deserves better treatment than that.
About this new project. I don't feel too ready to talk about it yet as I'm still drawing the character designs and getting the story nailed down. That being said, I have had a BLAST working on it. The project is going to be a completely colored in comic and is something I am aiming at a younger audience. I'm not sure where it'll go or what I'll do with it yet, but if I had to guess I would say don't expect to see anything for a little while. FDTN is still priority #1.
Finally, I want to say just how much I am looking forward to Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi. It's due to come out in January and if you haven't been paying much attention to his posts on it, I highly recommend checking his site out and looking over what he's doing. Kazu's work ethic and perspective are sound and always keep me on track. Also, check out the last part of the interview Josh and I conduct with with Joseph Brudlos of Alpha Shade in the I Make Awesome Podcast. Joe and his brother Chris have equally been a big source of knowledge and encouragement to Josh and I as we stepped forward into our own comic adventures. So thanks Joe for taking time to talk with us.
